Cha Cha Bonita, Reach For The Star, Come To Me, Girls Cha Cha and Work Hard Play Hard have been pushed out of the list by Oh No No, Only One Road and We Gonna Rock.

2012 Most Popular Malaysian Choreographer, BM Leong, maintains his position at the number one spot while Jasmine Leong and choreographing team, Jennifer Choo & Eddy Tang have dropped out of sight. Meanwhile, new choreographers Penny Tan and Melvin Tan have both claimed their places into the Top 10 list. Hopefully they can maintain their positions in the top ten.

It looks like GS Ang, our talented 2013 Most Popular Malaysian Choreographer who gave us LET'S DO THE SHAKE and many other popular line dances, may be dropping out of the list in the next update which is 3 months from now as she has "retired" from choreographing at the beginning of this year which is a huge loss to the Malaysian line dance community.

The race to the finishing line is far from over as many line dance parties will be organised and many dance lists will be collected. Nothing is certain until the deadline which is 31.12.2014

      

PRELIMINARY RESULTS - MOST POPULAR MALAYSIAN LINE DANCES AND CHOREOGRAPHERS FOR 2014

3/7/2014 PRELIMINARY RESULTS.
After 6 months of collecting dance lists from 23 line dance parties held all over Malaysia, listed below are the initial results which will be updated from time to time as more dance lists are collected. The results are now in points, for example if a choreographer has 3 dances in a single dance list, he will be awarded 3 points for that dance list ( 1 point for 1 dance ). At the end of the year, the choreographer with the most points will be our Malaysia's Most Popular Choreographer for 2014. The same will apply to the Most Popular Line Dance of the Year. Only the top 10 will be listed below.

FINAL RESULTS: MALAYSIA'S MOST POPULAR CHOREOGRAPHERS AND LINE DANCES FOR 2013

The followings are the final results for this year-long survey ending on 31.12.2013. It has been very tough work tabulating and checking the thousands of line dances in 52 dance lists collected from the internet ( Malaysian line dance websites and Facebook. ) Some of the lists were emailed to me by the organisers who wanted their party lists to be included in the survey. Thank-you. Some dance lists were not included because they do not have the names of the choreographers as we know many line dances are choreographed by multiple choreographers. So, here are the FINAL RESULTS.
